![]() ![]() During my brief time in observation, I witnessed the wonder of chiropractic and it was truly a miracle to me, seeing how it can change a person’s life. I was first introduced to the world of Chiropractic in my teenage years, when I was given the opportunity to observe my cousin who is a chiropractor. That’s why low level of vitamin B12 can impair your body energy levels and cause fatigue. When it comes to brain, vitamin B12 contributes to the formation of red blood cells and the maintenance of your central nervous system. Research suggests that this may be due to low level of energy and feeling fatigue all the time, or physiological effects on the brain that make it difficult to function properly. Though stress may seem like a common and relatively harmless term but chronic stress can cause huge strain on your body. An untimely wake time that doesn’t fall at the end of a sleep cycle can also impair your cognitive function and cause you to be more tired and foggy during the day. Sleeping less than seven to eight hours of sleep a night or irregular sleeping and waking time can interfere with the brain function chemistry. Individuals often do not feel like themselves as the loss of mental sharpness decreases. ![]() Ultimately, brain fog can impact the way you feel about yourself. Other common brain fog causes include eating too much and too often, inactivity, not getting enough sleep, chronic stress, and a poor diet. In summary, brain fog can be a symptom of nutrient deficiency, bacterial overgrowth from overconsumption of sugar, depression, or even a thyroid condition. This definitely should be concerning, since if it’s left untreated, it may lead to other permanent health conditions such as memory loss, Parkinson’s disease, and Alzheimer’s disease. It will take slightly longer time for us to learn new things or recall some important information. Our body would experience physiological changes that causes us to forget one thing or two as we grow older. ![]() Most people experienced mental fog since forgetfulness is the most common complaint among older adults. It can be due to many reasons but the most common ones are overworking, post viral, lack of sleep and spending too much time on the computer and electronics. First of all, what is brain fog? Is it a disease? Should I be concerned about it? It can be characterized by when you are having a confusion, forgetfulness and a lack of mental and focus clarity.
